Why do people hate Jacob Black so much?

As much as I love darling Edward, I reckon Jacob is AWSOME, he's so funny and cute and i felt soo sorry for him when bella rejected him in the third book (but i am glad she picked eddie). I want Jacob to imprint on someone who's good for him. hey what about angela or jessica???? BahahahaXD
