Would you rather have fame as a rockstar or a famous scientist/politician/leader?

I used to play professionally when I was 17 for the Glasgow Rangers for one year when I pulled out due to injury. I am studying carbohydrate synthesis and when I heard someone say everybody wants to be a rockstar, I was thinking, I'd rather be a contributing scientist than that. Politicians, famous scientists, leaders make history, Not pop artists, athletes etc. (Ie. think of Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Watson&Crick, Aristotle, Newton, Einstein, Bohr).
